Our North to South tour is truly an epic challenge, spanning approximately 1550 km and taking in around 19000m of elevation. This adventure is something a little bit special, comparable in distance to the famous LEJOG route (Land’s End to John o’ Groats) but with the added benefit of predominantly nicer weather. Let me guide you through the scenic journey:

The route crosses the most beautiful and idyllic scenery, initially we head south before we cross into the rolling landscape and natural beauty of the Dordogne Valley which is nothing short of spectacular.  The route then turns eastwards, and the terrain becomes more mountainous as we head across to the stunning Rhone Valley where it intersects with the iconic giant Mont Ventoux framed by the beautiful rolling lavender fields.  This is a challenge to take on so why not tick it off at the same time.  After taking in some of the most wonderful gorges and balcony roads, we wave goodbye to the Provence region and push on in an easterly direction.

F.A.Q

How does payment work?

To secure the booking we ask all riders to pay a 20% deposit of the full value of the booking. The full balance is due 60 days before your arrival date. Any bookings made within 60 days of arrival; payment in full is required.

I've booked, what happens now?

Once you are confirmed on a Retreat we will send you your Retreat Pack which will have all the information and advice you need.  There is also a bike hire form with the various options available and we will be here to advise and assist you.  It will help if you can return this form to us as soon as possible so we can get the ball rolling in plenty of time.

What date does your season start each year?

We’re open every week from October to May, this allows you to escape the winter chills and travel to paradise.

What is the duration of your holidays

We offer two different types of holidays; 4 and 7 night Holidays.

How fit do I need to be?

Our trips are physically demanding and we support every rider to challenge themselves on the bike. Mark has given his own personal opinion on how fit you need to be for our retreats in his blog post. Typically we ride between 75 – 120 kilometres each day. We are not a training camp and are focused on you having a challenging yet relaxed holiday.  We rate each route in terms of difficulty so you can see if it is for you (see the routes page).  For group bookings, we can create a bespoke cycling itinerary to ensure you get the best out of your time with us.
