Embark on an unforgettable road cycling adventure through the picturesque Alentejo region of Portugal. This idyllic journey will take you through charming villages frozen in time, where cobblestone streets wind past whitewashed houses and historical landmarks. But that’s not all—immerse yourself in the region’s rich wine culture as you visit renowned wineries, indulging in tastings of world-class wines amidst breathtaking vineyard landscapes.

Each day’s ride brings new discoveries, from the medieval splendour of Évora to the stunning hilltop village of Monsaraz. Cycle through the beautiful landscapes on smooth tarmac roads adorned with olive groves, vineyards, and fields of sunflowers, experiencing the heart of Alentejo’s rural beauty.

This tour is about wine and wheels, and we can’t wait to go on this journey with you!

Feel free to bring your own bike, but if you don’t want the stress of transporting your pride and joy, we have it covered.

F.A.Q

How does payment work?

To secure the booking we ask all riders to pay a 20% deposit of the full value of the booking. The full balance is due 60 days before your arrival date. Any bookings made within 60 days of arrival; payment in full is required.

I've booked, what happens now?

Once you are confirmed on a Retreat we will send you your Retreat Pack which will have all the information and advice you need.  There is also a bike hire form with the various options available and we will be here to advise and assist you.  It will help if you can return this form to us as soon as possible so we can get the ball rolling in plenty of time.

What date does your season start each year?

We’re open every week from October to May, this allows you to escape the winter chills and travel to paradise.

What is the duration of your holidays

We offer two different types of holidays; 4 and 7 night Holidays.

How fit do I need to be?

Our trips are physically demanding and we support every rider to challenge themselves on the bike. Mark has given his own personal opinion on how fit you need to be for our retreats in his blog post. Typically we ride between 75 – 120 kilometres each day. We are not a training camp and are focused on you having a challenging yet relaxed holiday.  We rate each route in terms of difficulty so you can see if it is for you (see the routes page).  For group bookings, we can create a bespoke cycling itinerary to ensure you get the best out of your time with us.
