The port city of Valencia lies on Spain’s south eastern coast, where the Turia River meets the Mediterranean Sea. It’s known for its City of Arts and Sciences, with futuristic structures including a planetarium, an oceanarium and an interactive museum. Valencia also has several beaches, including some within nearby Albufera Park, a wetlands reserve with a lake and walking trails.

There are various reasons why Valencia is perfect for cycling. The two most obvious are climate and geography. Any place that has over 300 sunny days a year and a lack of extremes of temperature at both ends of the spectrum is a decent place for cycling.

The Tour of Valencia is another of our carefully put together tours that has everything to make it special for you the cyclist. All we want you to do is concentrate on the stunning scenery the friendships with other guests, the handpicked boutique accommodations, and the thrill of cycling some of the best road in Europe. This tour has limited rooms available so we can give you our full attention and be able to select some of the best Retreats in the region.

Your package cost:

  • 2,200€ – per person
  • Add 300€ per person for full board option
  • 350€ – single supplement
  • 55€ – Wahoo with routes on request
  • Including IVA (Spanish Tax)

Bike hire is available at an additional cost of 200 euros and we will email you once booked on to ask about you bike requirements. You can see more about our hire bikes on the hire bikes page.

F.A.Q

How does payment work?

To secure the booking we ask all riders to pay a 20% deposit of the full value of the booking. The full balance is due 60 days before your arrival date. Any bookings made within 60 days of arrival; payment in full is required.

I've booked, what happens now?

Once you are confirmed on a Retreat we will send you your Retreat Pack which will have all the information and advice you need.  There is also a bike hire form with the various options available and we will be here to advise and assist you.  It will help if you can return this form to us as soon as possible so we can get the ball rolling in plenty of time.

What date does your season start each year?

We’re open every week from October to May, this allows you to escape the winter chills and travel to paradise.

What is the duration of your holidays

We offer two different types of holidays; 4 and 7 night Holidays.

How fit do I need to be?

Our trips are physically demanding and we support every rider to challenge themselves on the bike. Mark has given his own personal opinion on how fit you need to be for our retreats in his blog post. Typically we ride between 75 – 120 kilometres each day. We are not a training camp and are focused on you having a challenging yet relaxed holiday.  We rate each route in terms of difficulty so you can see if it is for you (see the routes page).  For group bookings, we can create a bespoke cycling itinerary to ensure you get the best out of your time with us.
